For this postcard, Christian visualized emotion data from his design activity, which was doing homework. He drew inspiration from the waterfall design model (see Dubberly). The postcard reads from left to right and is made up of colored steps, representing Christian’s design stages, and circles, representing Christian’s emotions. Darker circles mean more stress, and lighter circles mean more happiness. The size of an emotion circle represents the amount of that emotion at that time. This postcard makes it clear how many times Christian had to repeat steps of the process. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
