Julian captured his process for designing a poster in this postcard. Inspired by IBM’s rational unified process (see Dubberly), the card horizontally shows time and the different parts of his design process, and vertically shows the four categories of interruptions he experienced during the process. In each row, the larger the area of the interruption, the more time the interruption took. The color of the interruption translates to whether he thought it was worthwhile or not. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
