Lubna’s activity was refining a paper draft, and she visualized it in her postcard based on the seven-step process as a cascade with feedback (see Dubberly). The card reads from left to right, with different symbols representing different activities. For example, the feature pen represents Writing. As she progresses down the “cascade” steps, the arrows under each step allow her to return to previous steps, so that the process is not entirely linear.
