Anika captured her process for planning a summer trip using the Design Signatures app. She was focusing on how distraction influences her process. She also took raw freeform notes at the end of every stage. The postcard reads from left to right, top to bottom. Each colored bag or suitcase represents a stage in Anika’s design process. The small bar chart on each bag (a white bar and a black bar) represents the proportion of focused time or distracted time she had in that stage. For example, the first stage, shown by the red suitcase, had more focused time (higher white bar) than distracted time. Anika also makes the connection that her focused time is equivalent to convergent work, and her distracted time is equivalent to divergent work. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
