Pallavi uses fingerprints to illustrate her ideal design signature. There are two different types of prints in her postcard; one represents what she wants to do in a more structured format, and the other represents her approach in a free play environment. The colors of the fingerprint denote the different stages of design, and the length of each line represents how much time and effort she spends in each stage. She also combines both kinds of fingerprints in order to discover an ideal design signature. The interplay between structure and passion is important to her design work.
