For her concurrent capture, Petrina’s activity was cooking a dish for a potluck dinner, using both voice recordings and taking photos to investigate her process. She wanted to have a concrete theme around cooking but also make the postcard abstract. She visualized this using a fork as a timeline, reading from left to right, top to bottom. Each fork tine represents 25 minutes, and speared on the tines are colored cubes representing planning, prep, cooking, adjusting, experimenting, and presenting.
