Lubna's Postcard ArchiveAll Topic 4 PostcardsBack to all postcards

Lubna used shape, hue, and orientation to display data she captured of her process for refining a paper. The card acts as a timeline reading from left to right. Blue indicates she was working alone and pink indicates she was consulting other people. As you move along the timeline, the boxes decrease in size, showing that her time spent in each stage decreases but the stages themselves oscillate more frequently as she approaches her final paper. The shapes represent different activities, and some shapes are color-coded to represent different types of that activity. For example, the magnifying glass represents reviewing: a yellow magnifying glass indicates the review was based on structure or grammar, while a green magnifying glass indicates the review was based on the logic of the paper. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
