To represent the data from her prototyping activity last week, Mingyue used size and hue. Each circle is color-coded to a particular design stage, and the size of the circles represent the time spent on that stage. The overlapping parts demonstrate multitasking or multi-part processes during her work. For example, when she does research she is also thinking about prototyping, and when she’s prototyping there is a little bit of research happening too. The evaluate circle, shown in black, overlaps with all the other circles (except for define) because Mingyue evaluates her entire work. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
