For this postcard, Petrina drew inspiration from the self-awareness and reflection, interdisciplinary nature and process, and empathy and compassion categories from the in-class “Good Designers do ‘X’” affinity grouping activity. The first section of the postcard containing the circular device and horizontal white line represents her inspirations, and the second section of the postcard with the triangle prism and rainbow represents her ideal design process. In this way, Petrina shows how her inspirations are figuratively projected into her ideal design process, like light through a prism. See the back of the postcard for the key and other details!
