“What Counts as Design” introduces learners to the inspiration behind the Dear Design seminar, its curriculum and goals. The brainstorming exercise called “What Counts as Design” asks learners to consider and articulate the various activities that can be considered as design. The material presented and the brainstorming exercise prepare learners to think broadly about design activities and create their first postcard.
