Before doing this exercise, first watch Cindy Atman's Design Expertise Research Results video*.

‍This exercise uses the Design Signatures App to code the Oreo Making video as you watch it, creating a real-time capture. For instructions on how to use the app, click here.

Step 1

Watch the Oreo Making video from Topic 2 and code it using the Design Signatures app. Take a screenshot of the app timeline; you will reference this as you answer the following questions. 

1. What do you see when you compare your timeline to the design expertise research results? 
2. If you are doing this exercise in a group, what do you notice when you compare the timelines across your group?
