“Visualization Techniques” introduces learners to the different techniques they can use to visualize the data they capture (ex. Bertin semiology of graphics). The exercise, Interpreting Data Visualization/How to Represent Design?, asks learners to analyze previous postcards and identify the techniques used to encode and visualize the data. The learners will then incorporate at least one visualization technique from the seminar to represent their design process data on their Visualization Technique postcard.
